When you use Synco, the AI assistant in Syniq Business OS, your questions and the earlier messages in the conversation, your name, role and organisation name, and the records Synco needs to answer are sent to third-party AI model providers so that Synco can write a reply. These providers may process your data outside South Africa. Synco can read only the records your role allows, and your conversations are kept in your workspace.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. This includes encryption, secure authentication, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under applicable South African data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data
• Object to certain data processing

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may close your account and delete your data at any time from Settings › Privacy & data, or by emailing us. Your access stops immediately and everything is permanently deleted after 30 days, during which you can undo it from the link we email you. Invoices and payment history are kept for five years, as tax law requires, with your personal details removed.
